Job Summary
These positions are located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Kansas City, MO, San Francisco, CA, Dallas, TX and Chicago, IL Regional Offices of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provide administrative resources and perform various duties in support of Risk Management Supervision and Depositor and Consumer Protection. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.
Job Description
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here. To qualify for CG-07, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-05 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing administrative support, preparing written documents using word processing software, and maintaining reports using spreadsheet software. OR One full year of graduate level education or Superior Academic Achievement. OR A COMBINATION of graduate level education as described above, and specialized experience as described below, that together meet the qualification requirements for this position. To qualify for CG-09, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-07 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing administrative support, coordinating processes or projects, preparing written documents using word processing software, and developing reports using spreadsheet software. OR A master's or equivalent graduate degree (such as an LL.B. or J.D., if related) or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education. OR A COMBINATION of graduate level education as described above beyond the 1st full year of graduate education, and specialized experience as described below, that together meet the qualification requirements for this position.
