Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have prior experience which demonstrates leadership abilities and a sufficient level of technical knowledge of scuba equipment. This knowledge must have been gained through sales experience in a retail dive program or through dive certification from a professionally recognized scuba instructional program, e.g... PADI. Must have education, training or experience which demonstrates ability to perform cash handling and simple clerical procedures. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Certifications beyond basic Open Water are desirable. Experience with point-of-sales system, specifically Rec-Trac point-of-sales is desirable.
