Job Summary
This position will be assigned to the JBSA Lackland NAF Resource Accounting Office. Employee may also sometimes work at the Ft Sam or Randolph NAF Resource Accounting Offices.. This is a regular part-time category position with guaranteed 20 hours per week. May work up to 40 hrs/week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in work which provided comprehensive knowledge of double-entry accounting methods, procedures, and techniques used in maintaining and analyzing all classes of accounts system encompassing a number of diversified activities; experience in reviewing financial settlements and reports. May substitute an accounting degree from an accredited university for experience or a minimum of 9 hours of accounting course work. Experience providing high level customer service to internal/external customers. Experience with accounting systems sufficient to flow individual funds from initiation through expenditure stages. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, policies, and procedures. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Microsoft Office systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, TEAMs, etc. ) 2. Oracle operating systems 3. Accounting and bookkeeping skills 4. Organization and record keeping skills 5.
