Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Breadth of experience, equivalent of NF-II level, that demonstrated ability to apply the principles of one or more specialty areas of recreation. Experience such as assisting in the planning and execution of an outdoor recreation programmer or responsibility for a large segment of such a program is considered qualifying. Skill or equivalent in planning, coordination, and organizing outdoor recreation program activities. Skill in or equivalent effective management of financial and physical resources and budget preparation. Must possess a practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational equipment, rules and procedures in the areas in which the position is assigned
