An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 01/27/2025 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Requires a practical knowledge of recreational activities, and of Tennis in particular. Must be able to use and perform minor maintenance on equipment, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in person and by telephone. Ability to learn how to string tennis rackets, determine the type of string to use, determine the best tension. The ability to learn how to mount the racket in a stringer and adjust the tension without going beyond the limit of the frame. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Inquiry (NACI) is required. Perform duties in a timely manner, IAW established rules, regulations and procedures. Follow established cash handling procedures. Adheres to, and ensures patrons adhere to safety rules and regulations. Deals with the public/patrons in courteous and tactful manner and maintain good working relations with co-workers. Demonstrated a willingness and ability to learn on-the-job. Performs related duties as assigned.
