Job Summary
As a Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343-11/12, you will be part of Human Capital Data Mgmt and Modernization, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for refining and documentng the feature and release roadmap for human capital data visualization and related products.
Job Description
For the GS-12 Grade Level: Do you have at least one year of specialized experience which is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service (obtained in either the private or public sector) which demonstrates the following activities: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and data needs; Analyzing data and documents business processes, products and services to improve business efficiencies and performance; and Providing customer support and training to product users. For the GS-11: You must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09 grade level in the Federal Service (obtained in either the private or public sector) which demonstrates the following activities: Gathering requirements and feedback from stakeholders; Assists with writing test plans and conducting quality control testing of data products; and Providing customer support and training to product users. OR Successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. OR Equivalent combinations of successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B. or J.D., if related, and specialized experience directly related to the work of the position as outlined above that meets the requirements of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-9 or GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS11/12 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
