You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Incumbent must have the experience and ability to explain and demonstrate the procedures necessary to accomplish the work. Must have experience in planning and directing the acquisition of all equipment, supplies and services for facility maintenance. Must have skills and abilities to identify problems, provide solutions for all work operations and repair of equipment and tools. Must have previous experience in the maintenance and repair of bowling equipment. Must have a knowledge of the mechanical and electrical principles and of the operating characteristics of bowling equipment and standard test equipment. Must possess the ability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and manufacturers service manuals. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical, annual audio test may be required. National Agency check. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with Supervisors, co-workers, customers and vendors. Must have experience in a bowling facility which provided the basic knowledge of bowling programs, procedures and rules in which provided an in-depth knowledge of the operations of the facility. Previous experience in pro-shop operations, use of ball drilling equipment and the repair and adjustment of the surface of bowling balls is also desirable. Must be able to drive a government motor vehicle and submit annual driving records as well as satisfactorily complete drug testing as required.
