Job Summary
As a Program Analyst at the GS-0343-14, you will be part of CFO Financial Operations Management, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistency in how OPM financial projects and systems are planned, budgeted, managed, developed, and controlled throughout their life cycle.
Job Description
For the GS 14: You must have one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-14 grade level in the federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) 1)working with customers to identify systems requirements to improve workflow processes and business operations; 2) Providing feedback to external stakeholders to ensure that systems are available, and services are being implemented effectively; 3) Evaluating performance metrics to assess efficiency and effectiveness for workflow processes. Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS14 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
