Job Summary
This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Community Programs (N922) Branch; Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Recreational Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services (N91); Commander, Navy Region Northwest, at Naval Base Everett, Everett, WA. The purpose of this position is to provide customer service to patrons as well as to assist the supervisory librarian to perform a variety of duties in support of the MWR - Library Resource Center/Liberty Center.Job Description
Knowledge of basic service operations for libraries. Knowledge of Navy MWR Library's mission. Knowledge of other MWR programs and their purpose. Knowledge of front desk library operations that include library circulations. Knowledge of technology devices and software applications. Skill in providing excellent customer service. Skill in the use of technology devices and software applications to include Microsoft Office applications. Skill in typing. Skill in reading comprehension and basic math. Skill in public speaking.
