About the position: This position will be assigned to the Food and Beverages Facilities for the 6th Force Support Squadron, MacDill AFB, FL. Performance is measured on the basis of results achieved, i.e., success of total operations in terms of customer satisfaction and soundness of operations. Actively participates in the recruitment and development of staff members. Establishes an internal performance management system to ensure proper assignments.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have a minimum of two years of progressive experience, which provides a thorough knowledge of all duties described above. Verifiable experience in special events planning, or other closely related profession such as in Community Recreation or Hospitality. Practical experience and/or knowledge of snack bar and Catering operations is desired. Must have the knowledge of theories, practices, techniques of business practices and concepts as related to special events/ entertainment programs. Must have experience with the MS Office: Windows, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Other desktop publishing software and skill in the use of the Internet is desired. Ability to communicate orally and in writing and be able to read, comprehend, and speak English.
