About the position: Assists the Force Support Squadron NAF IT Specialist in all matters relating to data systems and communication hardware/software applications used within 412 Force Support Squadron MWR activities. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Working knowledge of most Microsoft Windows operating systems. Must have working knowledge to install operating systems and train users. Possess sufficient knowledge of electrical requirements and communications cabling to conduct surveys and propose necessary upgrades required to install new and replacement systems. Must have knowledge of current COTS hardware, software and operating systems to be able to make well informed recommendations for the purchase of new equipment and to actively participate in the source selection process. Position is a drug-tested position. Incumbent may be subject to random testing for drug use. Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. Pre-employment physical is required. Must be able to work in enclosed spaces. Working knowledge of Cisco operating systems and hardware is desired. Must have valid driver's license. This is a drug testing designated position. Incumbent is subject to random testing. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
