Job Summary

This position is located at Deputy AIG, Office of Audit/Fair Housing, Healthcare Programs, and HUD Mission Support Ops. As an Auditor (Performance) (Field Auditor), you will conduct internal and/or external performance reviews and audits of HUD programs administered by HUD and external program participants.

Job Description

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Using a computer and appropriate software to gather and analyze data, prepare presentations, and prepare audit work papers; AND - Conducting opening and exit conferences to present findings and recommendations; AND - Documenting results in audit reports with appropriate summaries, conclusions and recommendations; AND - Isolating and identifying conditions affecting financial management, susceptibility to fraud, and the potential for increased efficiency. Time-in-Grade:In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
