Job Summary

This position is located at Deputy AIG, Office of Audit/Fair Housing, Healthcare Programs, and HUD Mission Support Ops. As an Auditor (Performance) (Field Auditor), you will conduct internal and/or external performance reviews and audits of HUD programs administered by HUD and external program participants.

Job Description

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Using a computer and appropriate software to gather and analyze data, prepare presentations, and prepare audit work papers; AND - Conducting opening and exit conferences to present findings and recommendations; AND - Documenting results in audit reports with appropriate summaries, conclusions and recommendations; AND - Isolating and identifying conditions affecting financial management, susceptibility to fraud, and the potential for increased efficiency.
