Job Description

GS-12: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing comprehensive financial management to include budgeting, accounting and financial reporting. Knowledge of developing plans, implementing comprehensive financial management programs and experience applying the policies, precedents, regulations, concepts, and processes of budgeting to manage the short-range and long-range budget process, including formulation, execution and analysis activities, at the district or office level. In-depth knowledge of the budget cycle, preparing and presenting budgets, quantifying, and justifying budget allocations for agency evaluation. Extensive knowledge of analyzing program fund requirements source and type of funding available. Comprehensive knowledge of and skill in using a financial management information system to enter financial data, track funds and develop reports. Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If your agency has notified you in writing that you are a displaced employee eligible for ICTAP consideration, you may receive selection priority if: 1) this vacancy is within your ICTAP eligibility; 2) you apply under the instructions in the announcement; and 3) you are found well-qualified for this vacancy.
