In addition to the Washington, DC, headquarters, OIG has offices in more than 60 locations throughout the country.
Job Description
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience or General experience for this position includes: Providing technical advice and guidance to management on human resource initiatives such as: recruitment and placement, classification and position management; AND Applying HR laws, policies, regulations and procedures as it pertains to the review of position descriptions, evaluation statements, job analyses, vacancy announcements, certificates of eligible and pay setting services for General Schedule (GS) employees or equivalent; AND Performing human resources staff acquisition work that includes applying Title 5 regulations and merit staffing procedures or equivalent. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
