Job Summary

The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is located in the National Air and Space Museum which is the most visited Museum in the world. Upwards of nine million people each year visit the National Air and Space Museum in the National Mall Building and the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (UHC) in Chantilly, Virginia.

Job Description

GS-11 Experience: Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service or comparable pay band system related to the work of the position. For this position, specialized experience is defined as formulating budgets and tracking their execution; using analytical tools to provide in-depth analysis of budget requests; and preparing budget and/or forecasts and projections for an organization. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
