Job Summary
As a Building Manager, you will be responsible for directing and supervising all of the Property Management activities for the Northeast and Caribbean Region, Public Buildings Service, Caribbean Service Center (2PSC). We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. Specialized Experience: To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Evaluating policies, implementing programs, and independently making decisions related to the operation and maintenance of large office buildings (250,000 sq ft or more) and leased space; Analyzing the effectiveness of facility operations, which includes the operation of energy management and building control systems; Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customer agencies, lessors, contractors, and client personnel; AND Managing or monitoring real property budgetary and financial data. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR (SPF): In addition to the qualification requirements listed above, you must also be Fully bilingual in written and oral English and Spanish. The incumbent must be capable of translating English text into standard business Spanish and vice-versa.
