Job Description
BASIC REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 18 years old AND have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school; (Valid documentation will be required upon hire.) Must have a minimum of 1 year of working experience within a customer focused environment, preferably within a retail or business operations organization. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekends, holidays, and night time. Must be able to perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, lifting and carrying objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance. Must be able to complete Cash Handling Training Course before handling fund and Refresher Course once per year. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge to demonstrate technical knowledge of SCUBA products. Working experience to demonstrate the ability to build visual displays, monitor inventory levels, and perform basic opening/closing procedures and cash deposits is highly desired. Ability to observe, lead, coach, train, and mentor staff to deliver quality and timely services to customers. Knowledge of basic math and cash handling procedures. Have a strong command of the English language to include written and oral skills. Possess excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and a positive attitude with a genuine desire to work in a team environment and be a team player that proactively seeks ways to help people. Knowledge in operating Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Scuba diving experience preferred but not required. This activity is a Drug-free workplace.
