Job Description
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 20 years old AND have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school. (Valid documentation will be required upon hire). Must be able to perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, moderate lifting and carrying objects up to 45 lbs. independently and objects over 45 lbs. with assistance. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include morning, nights, weekends, holidays, and work at any one of the six centers within the program. Obtain an 18-hour Manager's Sanitation certification within 60 days of hiring. Must be able to complete Cash Handling Training Course before handling fund. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Working knowledge of the sport of bowling, bowling center operation, and equipment maintenance use to a level which enables the incumbent to perform or direct minor maintenance or adjustments. Working knowledge in Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, etc. Strong verbal and written communications skills to write reports, correspondence and procedure guides; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of senior personnel, customers and the public. Basic knowledge and understanding of food and beverage operations. Ability to read and interpret organizational policies and procedural guides as well as military orders and regulations, and ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form. Possess excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, tact, and problem-solving abilities, a team player actively looking for a way to help people. This activity is a Drug-free workplace.
