Job Description

Must have one year experience working in a Retail Store with a minimum of one year experience in weapons and ammunition handling procedures. This is a ¿covered position¿ for the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act for Department of the Navy civilian personnel. Due to contact with firearms, or ammunition in accomplishing work, applicant must possess the ability to successfully complete and obtain/maintain a favorable background investigation at the ANACI level and complete a NAVMC 11386; personnel screening for handling arms, ammunition, and explosives, a medical background screening, and a DD Form 2760 certifying whether or not a ¿qualifying conviction¿ for a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence has occurred MUST be completed. The continuing obligation to notify the immediate supervisor of any qualifying conviction through completion of DD Form 2760 and other aforementioned certifications is REQUIRED.
