Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to provide security technical expertise in developing and ensuring international security requirements are met by all parties and protection requirements are implemented and properly documented in Program Protection Plans, Security Classification Guides, Anti-Tamper Plans, Security Instructions, and Transportation Plans. Responsible for verifying/validating adequate protection of Government property, classified and/or Controlled Unclassified Information.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of program protection, system security, technology assessment and control, foreign military sales, information, industrial, and personal security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security programs in these areas. 2. Expert ability in developing, analyzing, evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the SAF. Ability to perform risk assessment and determine adequate compensatory measures as appropriate. 3. Knowledge of engineering, contracting, logistics and other functional concepts, programs, procedures, and practices. 4. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately. 5. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
