This HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) position, is located in the personnel and administrative section (S1) of a Brigade/Group/Troop Command and is part of the CA HHD STARC.

Job Description

General Experience: Possess a valid understanding of the basic principles and concepts of human resources functions and programs. HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, in: serving as an advisor to the commander and staff on the brigade human resources (HR) program; interpreting policy and providing procedural guidance to the commander, staff members, and individual military members; serving as the technical expert on a variety of administrative matters.
