Job Summary
This position is located at the VA Medical Center in Atlanta, GA, in Member Services, Health Eligibility Center (HEC) Office. You be responsible to verify income data with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA) for Veterans whose eligibility for medical care is based on their income. You will serve as a Supervisory Management Analyst in the Income Verification Division of the HEC and is responsible for providing leadership and supervision.

To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, you must meet the following: Experience: Must possess one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled? To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-11 of Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience includes providing technical and administrative direction to employees resulting in the efficient accomplishment of work; plans, schedules, and assigns work to be accomplished by subordinates; ensures organizational goals, guidelines, and effectiveness in achieving intended objectives; develops and evaluates the performance of subordinate personnel. You will be rated on the following Competencies as part of the assessment questionnaire for this position: Analytical Reasoning Communication Lead or Supervise Organizational Performance Analysis IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
