SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conducts and exercises oversight for nationwide water resources software; 2) assembles cross-agency federal coalitions to collaboratively solve challenging nationwide water resources problems such as: flood risk management, consequence analyses, risk and uncertainty assessments and ecological analyses; and 3) plan the program from the viewpoint of flood risk management and ecosystems analyses. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-14 or above. NO SUBSTITUTION FOR EXPERIENCE: Some Federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, both the individual occupational (basic) requirement AND the specialized experience requirement must be met; no substitution of education for specialized experience is permitted.
