About the Position: Serve as the Program Analyst and advisor to management and staff of the Readiness and Contingency Operations (RCO) office and as staff liaison for the Director, Resource Management (DRM) in support of integrated financial management needs for the RCO operating programs. Management may select at the GS-11 or GS-12 grade level. Full performance grade level of the position is GS-12.

Specialized Experience - GS-11: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing budgetary cost-benefit reviews; reviewing documents for formulation and justification of an organization's budget for appropriation action; and establishing schedules of funding using financial management systems. OR Successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business Administration or Accounting. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR C. Specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and at least two years of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required three years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Specialized Experience - GS-12: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing trend analysis on the cost effectiveness of an organization's funding activities; analyzing and preparing documents for formulation, justification and development of an organization's budget for appropriation action; and establishing schedules and resourcing of funds using financial management systems.
