Specialized Experience for GS-07: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in preparing plans and specifications, architectural and engineering (A-E) statements of work, and/or cost estimates. Gathering and interpreting information and data to assist in project designs and contract administration. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Specialized Experience for GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in preparing plans and specifications, architectural and engineering (A&E) statements of work and/or cost estimates; reviewing various documents to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards, and applicable laws and regulations. Gathering, interpreting, and applying information and data to assist in project designs and contract administration. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Specialized Experience for GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing plans and specifications, architectural and engineering (A&E) statements of work and/or cost estimates; reviewing various documents to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards, and applicable laws and regulations; updating contract documents, engineering drawings and documents to reflect changes in requirements; contract administration of service or construction contracts, researching, analyzing, interpreting, evaluating and carrying out difficult assignments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Knowledge Management Oral Communication Project Management Quality Assurance Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent: GS-07: 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05); GS-09: 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07); GS-11: 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09); To be referred, applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement.
