Job Summary
About the Position: Provide supervision and technical expertise necessary to manage the fiscal and administrative functions essential to the operation of lake, river, power plant, and area/resident office facilities at approximately 32 different locations throughout a three-state area. Responsible for management of the fiscal resources of the Operations & Maintenance, Mississippi River and Tributaries (MR&T), Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies and National Emergency Preparedness Programs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:(1) Contributing to the preparation of a variety of miscellaneous estimates and reports to reflect status of the program and budgeted funds for higher authority; (2) Developing criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of district execution of assigned programs; (3) Reviewing organizational programming-related reports for accuracy while detecting conditions which should be brought to the attention of appropriate District and/or Division officials; and (4) Preparing and/or editing reports and other written material generated by technical project team members within the functional Divisions. All Current Federal Employees MUST attach a current SF-50 for consideration. Without a SF-50, your application WILL NOT be considered. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget Administration Communications Leadership Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
