About the Position: Serve as the senior member of an electrical repair maintenance team at a Lake Field Office, which is a major flood control project, included are a flood control dam, 11-20 recreation areas, 4-8 which are Class A facilities, consisting of 251-500 Class A, RV pads.

Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Electrician without more than normal supervision. This is defined as performing the following duties under normal supervision in the: (1) Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment in facilities, through the application of electrical principles, materials, methods, practices, and occupational work and safety standards and use of related necessary tools and equipment. (2) Inspecting, adjusting, testing, and replacing worn or defective electrical apparatus. (3) Operating and installing a variety of high and low voltage, overhead and underground electrical systems, circuits and controls for reservoir facilities including administrative and office buildings; shop areas; storage sheds, restrooms; picnic shelters; recreational facilities; sewage and water treatment plants; underground primary lines; service lines and secondary lines to buildings etc. Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Physical Effort: Work requires frequent standing, stooping, stretching, climbing, and crouching. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifts and carries larger assemblies or complete units exceeding 50 pounds. Uses coordination of eyes, hands, legs, and body in installing, repairing, operating, or testing equipment in confined spaces such as manholes, machinery recesses, outlet stilling basin walls, or on overhead structures; climbs ladders, scaffolding, and works from suspended stages. Working Conditions: Works inside and outside during the day or night, subject to inclement weather, on high structures usually over water which is frequently turbulent, in the proximity of moving machinery and high traffic and noise areas.
