Job Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Position is located with Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston, located in Lake Jackson, TX. Applicants selected at the GS-09 level will be promoted to the GS-10 level for one year then to the GS-11 level when all regulatory requirements are met.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS-09 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Assisting with preparing design drawings or specifications related to construction; AND 2) Assisting with preparing inspection reports related to construction projects GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Providing recommendations for construction projects to meet requirements; AND 2) Interpreting drawings, specifications, schematics, or technical manuals.
