This Supervisory Interdisciplinary position will be filled in one of the following Job Series and the following are the Basic Requirements for each Job Series: Basic Requirement for 0193 Archeologist: Archeology Series 0193 Basic Requirement for 0810 Civil Engineer and 0819 Environmental Engineer: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0800/files/all-professional-engineering-positions-0800.pdf Basic Requirement for 0401 Biologist: General Natural Resources Management and Biological Sciences Series 0401 Basic Requirement for 0408 Ecologist: Ecology Series 0408 Basic Requirement for 0807 Landscape Architect: Landscape Architecture Series 0807 Basic Requirement for 0808 Architect: Architecture Series 0808 In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience Required for Supervisory Interdisciplinary position: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes at least 2 of the 4 Criteria: 1) Leading multi-disciplinary teams in diverse professional environmental program; 2) Plan, organize, and coordinate projects from conception, construction, and long-term monitoring; 3) Programmatically execute project schedules, costs, and budgets to deliver timely product; 4) Communicate formal presentations (concepts and policies) to peers, higher level professionals, stakeholders, managers, congressional and other government officials, including Federal, State, and local officials. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Negotiation Planning and Evaluating Team Building Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
