Specialized Experience: 1 year of specialized experience which includes formulating, developing and presenting budget guidance and data in support of multi-year operating goals, programs and budgets, analyzing and revising estimates in accordance with higher authority changes, and legislative or executive priority modifications. Provides advice, assistance, and recommend courses of action to section analysts, budget officers, and program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget Execution Budget Formulation, Justification, and Presentation Financial Management Analysis Financial Management Systems Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
