Serving as a program manager and advisor to Leadership on all matters relating to the business, contracts, and procurement programs; 2. Developing recommendations to solve problems, implement new directives, and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations; 3. Applying program management principles to achieve organizational objectives for efficient contract/procurement management; and 4. conducting financial evaluations of current or projected programs and systems to optimize operations within new systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
