Job Summary

This position is Directly responsible to the Assistant Director Program Management (ADPM) and provides financial management, program analysis, administrative guidance, and assistance to ensure sound and timely development of ongoing and proposed programs. Contributes to and participates in the review of programs to ensure that relevant Agency, office, and program events/deadlines are completed in a timely manner.

Job Description

You may qualify at the GS 14 , if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the federal service (experience may have been gained in the military or private sector): Reviewing and tracking budget materials such as Program Objective Memorandum (POM) issue papers and Research and Development Description Summaries (RDDS) to ensure office programs are adequately justified to the Director. Preparation of complete and well written Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) and Purchase Requests (PRs) for the initiation and/or continuation of research programs. Performing Budget formulation and justification process as it relates to the generation of Research and Development Description Summaries (RDDS) and the Congressional justification process. Preparing briefings, presentations, and other high-level documents in support of technical programs, special projects and studies. Verifying that contractors have performed the technical and management requirements in accordance with the contract terms, conditions and specifications.
