Job Description
GS-11 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Independently develop scopes of work for energy projects; 2) Develop independent construction estimates and energy-savings estimates; Review construction plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness; 3) Perform electrical and mechanical systems assessments and studies; Perform building-level utility consumption analysis; 4) With assistance, develop energy and water conservation projects; Provide professional engineering services related to energy conservation and management. GS-12 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Broad engineering knowledge related to facility engineering and broad knowledge related to public works management; 2) Skills in the areas of project and program management, budget development and management of funding, contract administration, team building, and training; 3) Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively both orally and in writing; 4) Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment, conference, and workshops related to the experience; diplomacy is required in all level of communication with management and clients.
