Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY (BUMED) of NAVMED OPER TRNG CENTER. This announcement uses the Expansion of Direct Hire Authority Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. Job Description
GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing, preparing, justifying and modifying budgets. Experience planning, programming, and executing budgets. Experience gathering and compiling data and preparing budget reports/budgets based on the outcome of finding. Experience with civilian payroll and accounting systems such as FASTDATA, STARS-FL, WYPC and SMART system tools. Experience supervising such as balancing workloads, setting work priorities, monitoring and evaluating performance, resolving issues and identifying training requirements. GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience using an automated system (e.g., management information system, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to extract information. Experience performing routine accounting and civilian payroll formulation and justification functions. Experience monitoring and reviewing obligations, expenditures, and reimbursable orders. Experience monitoring end of year closing. Experience reviewing and evaluating budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. Experience formulating budget and cost estimates to support organizational plans, programs and activities. Experience supervising such as balancing workloads, setting work priorities, monitoring and evaluating performance, resolving issues and identifying training requirements.
