Job Description
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying a comprehensive knowledge of accounting, internal review practices, techniques and standards. Experience applying a comprehensive knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and management techniques in order to independently review data inputs. Experience applying knowledge of management controls, risk management, accounting and auditing theory, concepts, practices and techniques is required along with the skill and ability to apply this knowledge to broad and complex assignments. Experience applying good communication skills to serve as the evaluator responsible for providing commands and higher echelons with detailed briefings or position papers on the adequacy and accuracy of managerial and financial accounting systems and reports within the organization.
