Job Description

GS-12 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develop plans, strategies and guidance to support C4 and cyberspace workforce training and education requirements. Provides input to leadership on required civilian training by identifying training requirements based on gap analysis, ensuring higher headquarters directives and industry standards are incorporated into the training plan. Track and oversee all assigned training initiatives for the C4 and cyberspace workforce and support the Division's high velocity learning environment Coordinate training requirements, course schedules, training documentation, and assists in the facilitation of assigned training contracts to support command's critical mission as required by positions and skillset. Conduct training needs assessments and gap analysis, and providing input for corrective action plans, ensuring individual development plans are in place, identifying appropriate resources, and implementing identified solutions while keeping management informed. Assists hiring managers in implementing training on new systems and required materiel, and innovative educational media programs. Conducts or participates in management studies for effective, regulatory compliant programs and initiatives that benefit the workforce. Responds to data calls requested by internal and/or external stakeholders as they pertain to the C4 workforce training. Examples of Qualifying Experience: Attention to Detail - Promotes awareness of cyber policy and strategy as appropriate among management and ensure sound principles are reflected in the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Customer Service - Works closely with MSC Cybersecurity divisions to ensure MSC's preparedness for the Navy's Cyber Security Inspection and Certification Program (CISCP) as well as Cyber Security Inspections (CSI). Coordinates with organizational manpower stakeholders to ensure appropriate allocation and distribution of C4 human capital assets. Oral Communication - Responds to data calls requested by internal and/or external stakeholders as they pertain to the C4 workforce. Proposes policy changes which effect cyber workforce standards or requirements. Problem Solving - The incumbent tracks completion of all command mandatory training and reports results to leadership, Navy, governmental entities, industry, and collaborates with eLearning developers as appropriate, to develop recommendations regarding new, experimental, or updated training policy requirements and execution strategies.
