Job Summary
Serves as the Financial Analyst (Lead) in a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) HQ location. The primary purpose of this position serves as a financial analyst and team lead entering, modifying, and correcting data in computerized accounting systems to include AIMS/SAVES, DIBS, and an in-development Oracle based accounting system.

To qualify for this position your resume and supporting documents must show that you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level or equivalent to at least GS-07 under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military. At the GS-09 applicants can also qualify on the basis of possessing a Master's of equivalent degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher graduate education leading to such a degree. Examples of qualifying specialized experience: Researches complex accounting issues and serves as a technical advisor. Receives and analyzes fund accounting. Creates, modifies, run queries, and generates reports in various financial management systems. Distributes and balances the workload. Reviews and analyzes Accounts Receivable reports for maintenance and reduction. You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Additional Requirements that must be met by the closing date: Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA. Time after competitive appointment.
