Job Summary
You will serve as a GG-13 Information Technology (IT) Specialist performing duties related to Enterprise Architecture. You will participate in technical exchange meetings and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to provide direction and insight to subordinate commands and commercial vendors to satisfy growing technological requirements. This position is located at US FLEET CYBER COMMAND in Fort Meade,Maryland.
Job Description
Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: Utilize knowledge of computer networks to anticipate how network casualties or configuration changes will affect network operations and implement safeguards to protect them; Assess information technology (IT) systems and vulnerabilities to ensure optimal use of commercial products to maximize performance; Evaluate emerging information technologies and implement these technologies on enterprise architecture.
