Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: The Senior Audit Program Analyst helps to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the processes within LSC OIG's Office of Audit. As such, the Analyst manages audit information systems, provides comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the audit reporting and quality control processes, and applies advanced analytical methods and techniques to identify, extract, analyze and report data.

Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively reach different audiences, including all levels of OIG audit and management staff. Excellent customer service skills. Capable of working independently with minimum supervision and as member of a team, including a commitment to a One OIG approach to teamwork. Technical: Related undergraduate or graduate degree(s) (e.g., business administration, finance, accounting, management, public administration) and a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, including progressive responsibilities in policy/process management. Basic knowledge of audit and an OIG audit function. Ability to perform research, compile data, and assimilate information to present to higher-level management. Analytical ability and an understanding of pertinent skills such as those related to statistical, accounting, auditing, financial management, budget, and public and/or nonprofit organizational management principles. Proficiency in Office 365 software, including advanced expertise using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other database programs.
