Job Summary
This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent serves as an expert planner, analyst, and advisor for Program Analysis and Evaluation. The incumbent develops plans and projects; collects and analyzes the necessary data; identifies and validates requirements; and investigates and resolves complex issues to support all DSSC program analysis and evaluation processes and deliverables.
Job Description
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 13 grade level in the Federal service: Oversees all phases of budgeting and execution processes to include formulation, preparation, execution, entitlements and ensures proper postings in the DoD Financial Management Process. Produce project studies analysis of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity in order to identify and assess business challenges and opportunities. Apply qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of complex programs, budget processes, plans, and/or systems. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
