Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Food Service Worker without more than normal supervision. Ability to perform common Food Service Worker tasks including taking customer food orders; dependable with speed and quality of work; have a satisfactory safety record; keep things neat, clean and in order. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Do The Work Of The position Without More Than Normal Supervision Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Work Practices Physical Effort: Work requires light to moderate physical effort. Workers are subject to continuous walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling. May be required to work on ladders and use powered cleaning equipment. Frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds; lift heavier items with assistance. Working Conditions: The work is normally performed in deli or bakery area where some temperatures may be uncomfortable. Areas are well lighted, but there may be dangers of slipping on floors, exposure to hot surfaces and liquids, sharp cutting utensils, and extreme temperatures when entering walk-in refrigerators or frozen food units.
