About the Position: Responsible for accomplishing a wide variety of design changes, preparing field change orders for construction contracts assigned to the Project Office, for the review of new and revised contract plans and specifications, technical review of shop drawings and other contractor submittals, overseeing field efforts in quality assurance and assisting in the preparation of as-built drawings. This position is located in Baumholder, Germany.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Working as a construction inspector and interpreting plans and specifications for a variety of construction projects; 2) Inspecting materials and workmanship and overseeing field efforts in quality assurance; AND 3) Ensuring adherence to construction safety requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Building and Construction Contract Administration Oral Communication Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
