Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) taking notes or preparing minutes from conferences or meetings; (2) preparing drafts and final form correspondence utilizing proper grammar and formatting; (3) communicating with customers/staff over the phone and in person; AND (4) utilizing database applications and automated systems to generate reports, spreadsheets, and charts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Clerical Computer Skills Customer Service Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
