Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes providing support to health care management officials by analyzing and advising on health care delivery systems and operations; preparing draft improvement documents for healthcare operation practices and policies AND assisting with the evaluation healthcare delivery that relates to inpatient and outpatient clinics. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes utilizing various databases and healthcare systems to monitor the healthcare delivery processes within a medical treatment facility; providing administrative support in the area of budget, personnel, and/or resource management; and analyzing healthcare data to identify problems and/or provide recommendations This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12)
