Job Description
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S), GS-0601:Education: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications and Selective Placement Factor stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, GS-15:Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: Experience in performance management initiatives and tasks, establishing strategic goals, measuring results and reporting progress. Coordinating research initiatives, planning and evaluation standards for meeting performance measurement and results, and monitoring clinical care performance measures and prevention mechanisms. Developing strategic planning and evaluation measurements and standards, to coordinate budget formulation overview and funding allocations. Develop, monitor and analyze current and proposed legislation, policy and regulations for performance measurement and results; and integrate data collection and utilize reporting systems to manage and data development requirements. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: In addition to the minimum requirements, the following certification is determined to be essential to perform the duties and responsibilities of the particular position. Applicants who do not meet a selective placement factor are ineligible for further consideration.
