Job Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is part of the Missile Defense Agency, Missile Defense Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for providing the infrastructure support, services, and facility management to support various MDA facilities, warehouses and other elements.
Job Description
You may qualify at the NH-03 broadband level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service in at least 3 of the 5 listed below: Experience applying the principles, methods, and techniques of multiple facility sustainment disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural, topographical, geo-technical, environmental, and/or material sciences to provide expert facilities advice to executive leadership regarding assigned sites and facilities. Experience applying knowledge of facilities/systems acquisition to include related design and planning to ensure that products meet program goals/objectives. Ability to analyze complex data, arrive at logical conclusions, and make recommendations in the conduct of recurring and special studies. Experience developing Real Property Requirements, facility planning, work classification, design, or construction activities serving as advisor on matters relating to real property planning, programming or business case development. Skill in oral and written communications to efficiently respond to technical questions as well as advanced interpersonal skills in order to articulate facility requirements necessary to manage and support assigned programs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
