Job Description

Two years of work experience, either paid or volunteer, that has provided the demonstrated knowledge in the following areas to successfully manage a Fisher House: facility operations and maintenance; financial management; supervision of housekeeping and other maintenance staff; recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers; guest relations; and marketing. A four year hospitality, business or marketing related degree or certification as CLM (Certified Lodging Manager) may be substituted for one year of work experience. HIGHLY PREFERRED: Work or volunteer experience at a Ronald McDonald House or other Fisher House operations. Marketing experience building community relations, website development/maintenance, social media networking and virtual presence. Non-Profit volunteer or work experience with any organization.
