Job Description
Qualified candidates will possess the following: work experience which includes the following: interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems; AND interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; AND applying commercial budgeting techniques, AND supervisory experience directing technical and professional financial management operations. HIGHLY PREFERRED are those candidates that possess both the minimum qualifications above and: at least one (1) year of work experience directing/managing DFMWR Financial Management for a Garrison, or equivalent financial management responsibility in DFMWR Business or Recreation Divisions; or two (2) years as a Budget Analyst in DFMWR Financial Management, Business or Recreation organization, OR at least two (2) years of supervisory experience managing five or more Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) employees or equivalent including programming, planning, budgeting, and long-range planning, OR at least two three (3) years operational AND leadership experience in DFMWR Financial Management for a Garrison, or equivalent, including Budgeting, Review and Analysis, Internal Controls, Manpower, Capital Purchase Minor Construction, Appropriated Funds/Uniform Funding and Management AND two (2) years managing projects.
