Job Description
Qualified candidates will possess the following: progressive work experience related to the duties of a Materials Examiner and Identifier. Such duties could include: collection, receipt, identification, sorting, packing and moving materials to a baler machine; operation of gas or diesel-powered forklift trucks to load truck trailers using inclined ramps; performance of "operator maintenance" on truck; completion of service records, AND must be familiar with a wide range of materials and equipment as well as numerous procedures, supply catalogs, technical manuals, and equipment drawings required for product and equipment verification, AND must have an in-depth knowledge of warehousing or property reutilization and disposal procedures and plans, AND must be skilled in handling the controls for starting, stopping, backing and driving the assigned vehicle (e.g., stake truck, forklift, etc.), AND have the skill to maneuver a forklift through close passages with loaded cargo, AND have the skill to operate the forklift inside buildings and outside on smooth and rough terrain.
